Mineral Kits
Our specimens are exceptionally large (except for
topaz due to its being a gemstone), nearly half are in
crystal form, and all are nearly pure mineral
throughout. Our specimens are purchased at the annual
minerals shows in Tucson and Denver, the two largest
such shows in the USA, for the express purpose of
obtaining the highest quality specimens available. As
for price, our mark-up is only 2.5 to 3 times the
wholesale price whereas most minerals sold through other
outlets often exceed 10 times the wholesale price. Both
our Ultimate and Deluxe kits include all but about five
or six of those minerals appearing on the Official
Science Olympiad Rocks and Minerals list. The size and
quality of mineral specimens is crucial for students
wishing to discover how to identify and observe minerals
and their properties. Unlike typical minerals kits
generally sold for student use, those from Other Worlds
Educational Enterprises, LLC provide an opportunity for
students to study specimens closely quite similar to
those presented in Science Olympiad competitions. You'll
be absolutely thrilled at the size and quality of our
specimens!
